His Word on Sin

SIN is any disobedience to God. Sin brings death.

Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of Sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple,
and said unto him,
Behold, thou art made whole: Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

So when they continued asking him,
he lifted up himself, and said unto them,
He that is without Sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her,
Neither do I condemn thee: go, and Sin no more.

Jesus answered them,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, whosoever committeth Sin is the servant of Sin.

Jesus said unto them,
If ye were blind, ye should have no Sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your Sin remaineth.

If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had Sin: but now they have no cloke for their Sin.

If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had Sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of Sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of Sin, because they believe not on me;

Jesus answered,
Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater Sin.
